Love is a science fiction film where the hero, an astronaut, gets stranded in orbit aboard the International Space Station (ISS). With the earth in chaos down below, he does what he can to make the most of his dire situation and finds more than what he had bargained for in taking the assignment in space. Love is more about the subject of love than anything else and even when the setting is in a spaceship in orbit, the movie takes you places, even in a different time in the past. You'd wonder how the subject of love can be given sense in such a movie where the situation seems to be the driver of the story. But there's love in there and you need to see it to believe it.
Love is produced by alternative rock band Angels & Airwaves and directed by William Eubank, who used scrap material to build the space station set in his parents' yard. It's an alternative movie to watch but it may well be worth your time with a lot of lessons to be learned. Watch the trailer and see for yourself what to expect.
Barbie isn't an astronaut. She's a doll, but she definitely looks good in this classic space outfit inspired by the design trends of the 1960s.
